location: Classroom 4 (15 spots)

Workshops
The Arduino is a great device for learning and experimenting with
electronics, but sometimes you need a jump start in how to use it.  If you have an Arduino (or are willing to buy one prior to FrayedWire )
then come take this workshop for some great ideas and useful starter
kit of projects.  Only 15 spots are available, you must buy the workshop ticket on http://FrayedWire.eventrbrite.com.  The $15 workshop fee will cover a kit of parts and a booklet of fun
projects to get you thinking and working.

The workshop itself will focus on an overview and instruction on getting everything set up and running.   Afterwards, bring your materials to the open lab and work on your projects with the
other FrayedWire attendees.  You must bring your own Arduino (or compatible), and a laptop with the
latest version of the Arduino software installed.  If you would like to purchase an Arudino I recommend the official
Duemilanove
(http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=17&products_id=50)

The software can be downloaded for free from here:
