The humanistic and community-centered trend of open-source technologies has generated a spirit of shared experience, engagement and respect for community. Our creative tech community here in the NW, in large part, is driving this paradigm shift. How might we create interdisciplinary collaborations like the legendary ones created at Bell Labs and Xerox PARC? What kinds of program models, "real" assets and resources can we develop to incubate these interdisciplinary collaborations? How will a culture of virtual collaboration change physical space? Join us for a lively exploration of the possibilities.
